I have a new update We fitted a new intercooler, finally carried out a full service, boring but essential. i have a set of autometer gauges ready to go in and a HKS spf reloaded Some pics: I've had to cut the bumper out a bit. i'll post some more pics shortly And a decent pic for show
very nice!! Had a good look at it at JAE! Love the wheels! If you could work that fog light into one of the rear lamps that would be cool
Nice car mate havent seen this thread before. Looks loads better with the new wheels. What plans you got for it in the near future?
Car looks real nice wheels have made it better but think it will look much smoother without the rear spoiler
Thanx, I still need to fit the gauges (Autometer-ultralite), We are still waiting for the HKS induction kit for this as well. I will have some paintwork done soon on the bootlid, looks ok in the pics but the boot is a slightly different colour to the rest of the car I would like to see 450-500 bhp out of this so eventually tubby, fuel pump etc etc.. and a gizzmo ms-ibc comming within the next few weeks. I seem to have bits sitting around and not enough time to work on her. I am also interested in changing to a full front bumper now the FMIC is in, I quite like this but i havent had much time to research who makes it.
It's a full Carmodify Wonder Shadow kit with custom fitted arch extensions. WONDER SHADOW JZX100 ƒ`ƒFƒCƒT[ ƒGƒAƒƒp[ƒc
the car looks great. although i did quite like it on the old wheels still.... dont suppose you still have them???? keep up the good work, and to me i think the spoiler fits the car nicely. jamie
Thanks fot that. I probably would never have found it. I thought it looked a little like the M-sports kit
Ok, so it's been a while and I haven't got much new progress as we have been spending so much time getting complete styling off the ground. But here goes, The fog light has been integrated into one of the light clusters. and the spoiler has been removed, bootlid welded etc. I wasn't sure about this at first but it does look much better. I have also found time to fit the autometer gauges, boost/vac, water temp and AFR in carbon pods to match the carbon trim on the dash The HKS SPF reloaded is now fitted, it makes the standard recirculating dump valve sound awsome I have been having a few bits painted to keep the car tidy and noticed the rear bumper has been getting burned by the exhaust. the tail pipe was way too short for the Julius kit. I removed the rear section to fit a new tail pipe and found this hole - Kinda weird because there was no audiable blowing sound (and it recently passed the mot. I welded this up whilst fitting this - Pics speak for themselves Much better. Thats all really for the moment, however we did find time for this - PIMP MY WELDING CHAIR - LOL - full leather retrim
Awesome, really liking this. Where are you sourcing your parts from? Or did you make the braces and exhaust yourself? Really nice work if so. What offset are the wheels by the way? Trying to figure out what sizes I can fit to my 100. You need some late spec rear lights to finish off the back end.
I made the brace and modded the exhaust myself I have a jig for this brace as I thought I may start to offer them on our website however I figured the demand for jzx 100 parts would be quite small so have only made one for my car. My standard brace was (very poorly) reinforced with 1" stainless tubes hence why I looked at replacing it. If there is demand for this particular brace I can price it up, but to keep the prices reasonable they would probably have to be made from round aluminium tubes instead of oval. Andy the wheels are Ultralite Daiki 18"x9.5 et35. This is the lowest offset ultralite do on this wheel but it fits just fine under the arches. I would recomend at least 5mm spacers on the front to avoid rubbing on suspension arms. The tyres are 225's btw just to keep the steering reasonable. In my opinion my wheels look a little small on this car especially the rears. I'm thinking of 25mm spacers on the rear to try and make them look like they fit better but really a wider wheel would have been ideal.
