    Is it too expensive to hire a recovery truck for a couple of hours? GU is a Guilford(ish) postcode is it not?

    yes it is guildford area. about 20 miles south of gford tho.

    Ah right. Check out recovery people tho, was speaking to a guy who drove from Bristol (or summat) to Southampton docks to pick up a VW Camper and that was all done through a local recovery firm.

    its a std rx7 fc3s, so not that low seeing as std they ride on stilts lol.

    I can do it in the truck although im not sure how coompetitive i could be pricewise considering i be coming from Aylesbury:confused:

    he' worked it out to be 142.9 mile trip in total... thats him driving down to the car and after pick up getting home etc:

    best he can do is £120. if you cant get it any lower than that let me know.... he also needs to know if the car is running i'e can it be driven up the ramps? and when you would want it done.

    thanks for trying to sort that for me mate. the car is already being picked up now. altho the guy picking it up has taken it back to his as the snow is so bad here he would have no chance lol.
