Same as any other track day, if the session gets shut down because someones stacked it, there is nothing you can do about it. Bob has a LOT of recovery trucks that will posted around the track, it only takes two or three minutes to clear a car if we're pressed for time.
I'm not having a go at potential skidders, as i recently binned mine into the tyre wall myself but with I imagnie there will be a lot of people trying mallory for the first time, so there may be a few people heading into the gravel. Would be gay if two or three people ended up in the gravel/grass in a row,...you'd only be left with 5 minutes to drift
The gravel will be gone by then as we are moving the tyre wall back, so this should eliminate a number of issues with down time.
Ah well... Media Pass or not it's still gonna be freaking awsome! Would love to get one though as i'm trying to start a little bit of work over 2011...
Would it be possible to purchase a open pit pass or something similar? I dont BMX or skate and would only really be interested in bringing a van full of tyres, spare gearboxes and skidding all weekend
Wow......sounds like a mega, mega event. Im up for a FWD fail stand aswell.......my little crx cant drift!
who from belgium / holland is going? i'll need an antonov aswell, so if the norwegian boys can drop by to pick up some of my stuff, it would be great!
as read earlier in an earlier post in this thread did i understand correctly i cant do passenger rides for my girlfriend and other ppl coming with me?
one more question is there a way of paying for the entire weekend of drifting for us ppl from abroad or is it always just 15mins at a time? not too keen on coming over (road trip of 1600kms) and go out for 15mins at a time....
The problem you will have is if you purchased, say for instance ablock of 4 sessions back to back, you would lose at least one of them in tyre changes, as you would struggle to do two sessions back to back on a set of tyres, so the idea with the sessions is so you can book sessions, multiple if you choose but split them up over the one or two days that way you will get more track time for your money and less time changeing tyres when you have paid to be on track, we are trying to offer as much quality track time possible for everyone drifting, and based on FCD days, unless you have mega power, a set of tyres should do the session but will probably not last two consecutive sessions if the weather is dry and track temperature is fairly high. Hope that helps.
