    can anyone recommend a good tattooist in london please girlfriend wants to get one and was on about goin to london ink but im thinking there is better or just as good (and a lot cheaper) tattooists out there just

    Please only recommend one if you have seen a bit of there work on people or have used them yourself, thanks

    the thing with london ink is theres a big waitting list.

    yeah thats another reason i said id throw up a thread here, i think theres a one month waiting list atm which isnt awful bad i guess

    give ouch tattoos a call. they have just open up a new shop, there link is my sig, speak to a guy called rob and say you a member of Driftworks and he might be able to sort something out for you there based in waltham abbey, not to far from north london. :)

    +1 for frith street. Is London ink even still open? Phil Kyle is at magnum opus in brighton, dan gold is up in Liverpool. Also check out Henry hate at prick tattoo near Liverpool St/old St

    cheers brad some very nice work on the site there, im going to guess she will try and find someone a little closer to ealing or town but ill definly say it to her thanks

    @holty and al, cool ill check them out is there a particular person in frith street to look out for?

    i dont know is london ink still open, as i said its the girlfriend thats in london and getting the tattoo and she was looking at london ink, i love tattoos, its her first so i want her toget a good impression so she might go get more ;)

    didnt really watch the show much to be honest any time i did it boarded the shit out of me and really i was left thinking that it was all just the media generated by the beckham tattoo... saying that i really liked the young lads style and tattoos that i did see

    crazy as it sounds. if you are having probs getting to outside london i dont mind being a taxi, lol, to be fair ouch are now a tattoo studio that are full supporters of DRIFT, so anything to keep the circle flowing

    Blue Fire in Chingford are the bollocks, best shop in my area by far.

    Blue fire are really cool. Is it James Moule? A couple of my good friends Stu and Kelly get tattooed there, really impressive work.

    depends what style you want and how long you want to wait! Look on the website and/or go and chat to them is best bet :)

    Although if you think a month to wait for an apointment on London Ink is too long don't even bother trying to book with Valerie Vargas...

    Have and would only ever use Lal Hardy in Muswell hill/ friern barnet area. Tha's if you can get am appointment.

    Frith street is predominantly Neo traditional and japanese

    I booked with Val Vargas at Frith. Waiting list was 2 years...


    She subsequently halved that list and takes no more work til it's somewhat reduced!

    If you can travel a bit (to sudbry) my mate has tattooed me there, 4 and counting, love every single one..
