Hi all this is my 535i sport with a turbo on her, engine mods with Shreck cam, Wisco forged pistons, lightened and balanced crank, T3/T4 turbo and a 3" straight through exhaust.

It made 231.3 whp at 0.4 bar of boost and 259ft , not ran it on full boost yet but could do with a uprated head gasket if any1 konw's where i could get 1 from + after some ideas on what colour i should do her e.g matt red???:D

Swwweeeettttttt!!!!!!!!!! This bm is fuckin' rude!! Sorry, i love e34's :D

The colour is fine! Just get it stripped, upto spec and tare up some tarmac in the BDC!!

EDIT: Just see in the pics that it is stripped, my bad lol ........but, you are gonna need coilovers! My 530 v8 was slammed as much as yours and all i done was cut the springs in half all round. To say the least, it wasn't very good in the dry but fantastic sideways in the wet :D
I looked at building one myself and the cost and unavailability of suspension parts was financially severely out of my budget but good luck, you can do it!!!!

nice mate. looks like a neat conversion too.

just a quick few things ive noticed though,

the turbo core needs rotating, the oil return should always point towards the floor and not sideways like yours is, itll kill the oil seals in no time like that,

also that turbo is too small imo. the exhaust housing on those turbos is a .63 which is waaay to small for a 3.5 engine. you need something with a larger exhaust housing and i doubt it will be any laggier than it is now due to flowing better.

brilliant car to start drifting with though, looks well worthy of some uber fun.

    Great project

That's using reversed standard exhaust manifolds, right?

Agree totally with MD on the turbo issues mind, but overall, fucking ace :D

Did you get a power graph of it as it is. I'd love to see a power graph of it and how the boost behaves.

I'd go for something Luke that with a .86 housing. Or just go mad and get a super t70 lol.

But ideally if you can find one a hx35 holset would work a treat.

Surely if you span the comp housing round it would make your ic pipework alot easier too.
