    Yep going to put a cage in. Plan to do a few track days and maybe the burg so might as well do it now

    Plan to weld in some proper plates into the floor. Just needed something to get me through the MOT

    Progress has been slow but managed to have a good bash this weekend
    Made a template for the rear trailing arm reinforcement

    Cleaned up in preparation for welding

    Welded up and seam sealed

    Painted

    Also strengthen up the rear ARB mounts

    DIY strut top reinforcements
    [​IMG]

    Rear Coilovers, brakes and rear camber arms fitted

    Front coilovers, camber plates and brakes fitted

    Finally making some progress

    Not really feeling the wheels in silver. I think they would look better in black

    And PVC is naturally fire retardent.

    Got it off ebay

    Was only £6 a sheet for matt black

    x3 sheets did all four cards

    Definatly agree, black or anthracite wheels would work perfectly on it!

    Removed Air Con today then cut the ends of the condenser to use as brackets for the auxilary fan

    Any chance you kept the template for the rta mount Plates?
    I was going to do the same but if I could borrow your template I don't need to have the car in bits for long.

    I think you should keep the wheels silver. Looks smart with the blue.
