May as well add my build in here as I have been browsing for a while now.

Got given a 1997 180sx shell from a mate that was moving over to Aussie to live, low kms but a fair stack in the passengers side from Japan

when I recieved it the door had already been replaced, and had a 1/4 window waiting to go in.

As the car was already missing its front (had been used on a 1via conversion) I decided to go for the ichigo (strawberry face) conversion. Picked up a radiator support pannel, guards, bonnet, hinges and headlights for a reasonable price

Then brought a pair of Uras (replica) sideskirts.

got the rear 1/4 damage straightened out and the s15 radiator support welded on inplace of the 180 item
    [IMG]

    test fitted the s15 front
    [IMG]

purchased a new front bumper which was then promptly cut and modified to flow with the lines of the skirts
    [IMG]

Brought an r33 rear subframe and front brakes of a friends wrecked gts25t for a 5 stud conversion. Diff, axles and rear hubs were then bolted onto the s13 rear subframe.

then purchased a redtop sr20det from a friends drift car he parted out, along with various other bits and pieces.

starting to look how I want it to
    [IMG]

then purchased a Garret gt2860rs off another friend and bolted that to the side of the sr. Added some braided water lines to the turbo (used to run without water cooling)

added some typeX tail lights from the previously mentioned parted out drift car
    [IMG]

tidied up and painted the rear subframe and diff
    [IMG]

then got some new toys that really transformed the look of the car
    [IMG]

mounted and plumbed in an r32 gtr intercooler, as well as a 10row oil cooler
    [IMG]

test fitted everything in the engine bay
    [IMG]

then took it all out masked the engine bay and had a friend come over and spray it (on the coldest day of the year so far :smash:)

dropped the motor in (literally) engine fell and crushed radiator support.

after straightening it up and bolting everything back on we bled the brakes, clutch (after removing the damping loop), re-pinning the loom to suit the blacktop power fc we fired it into life.

Here it sits after finally driving out of the shed under its own power for the first time in over 3 1/2 years. Still to get wheels and modify a pair of steel guards as these fiberglass ones are ratshit.

looking at getting a set of these in 18x10 rear and 18x9 front

not quite a simple bolt on. you can still use the std 180sx radiator support but it needs cutting and beating in places to get things to fit right.

I went the other way and had the s15 radiator support pannel welded on inplace of the 180sx one.
