That's a version of a late 1980s RUF promotional video called 'Faszination on the Nurburgring'.

    wicked.
similar theme, ring, yellow RUF etc...
worth watching as there's some good skids in places, the bridge over Adenau is pretty cool:cool:

think it's Dirk Shoysman driving but not certain?

Good skills in a quick car. I had a passenger lap of The Ring with Marino Franchitti in his own 1991 Porsche 911 RS in the same yellow as it happens. LHD so I was sat on the right, he was on maximum attack and we were cornering at silly speeds. Spoke to Lex at Pod who recently went to the ring with Al Clark, said he's amazing behind the wheel of his M3. :worthy:

When asked why Stefan Roser didn't do a controlled lap to achieve the fastest laptime,
he replied "You don't always make love to a woman to have children"
    Fuckin' A

The 87 RUF CTR in the first vid had no power assisted steering.

Roser does make the odd mistake though, scary off at 100+ through Schwedenkreuz (1.55). Nothing broken though thankfully. Passenger takes it well!

2min 18sec, check out RUF using bolt on spacers on the RT12! Good one to show the spacers are dangerous nobbers.

i'm sure porsche also used spacers as standard equiptment to increase the track on the wide bodied 944 and 911 turbo in the eighties
