Where is Punchestown ?!

    Hello.
    Excuse my poor english.

    I search "Punchestown" in Google Maps and I find a "mini-town" near Naas:

    Is this city? i can't find the circuit, where is it ?!
    I search on "irish railway webpage" and i don't find a train to Naas or Punchestown, do you know if exist this train? or any way to arrive.

    this is just the name of the racecourse i think. its where they hold the horse racing. its not far from nass not sure if theirs a train station in nass its easy to find with a sat nav but its in the middle of nowhere as far as i can remember but a real good day out for the prodrift good track

    It's about a five / ten minute drive from Naas. Where are you travelling from ?

    I search for train, but i think must be to rent a car in Dublín.

    yea, you would, no trains to punchestown, you would have to get a train/bus then grab a taxi if you wanted to.

    Or get a train to Naas, Co. Kildare and get a taxi from there

    By the time you get a bus into the city, a train to Naas and a taxi to Punchestown, it'd surely be cheaper to rent a car ?

    That also! In in fri afternoon to the port if it was any use to give a lift to the track, also not far from Dublin Airport

    I asked one if he knew where Punchestown was.
    "Yes" he said. and smiled.
    "would ya be wanting me to tell you where it is??"

    Did make me laugh.
