    Selling my trailer. Car also.

    Just changed both bearings before the last trip to santa pod, tows great. Ramps and working winch. Jocky wheel isnt great but works. Could do with a light boared but does have lights but the lenz are broken. Has LED side lights.

    Car is also for sale.

    I want £350 for the trailer.

    What does the weight of the car have to be for when towing with this trailer??? Just really want to get to events and I am on the look out for a trailer like this.

    Got my wife's 1999 focus and want to pull my skyline around but not sure on braked weights and what not.

    I spoke with a VOSA officer and this is what i was told.

    If a trailer has no plate with all the weight info, they will then look at how many axles and tyre grade. then they have a guide for each tyre speck, and it will then depend on the officer. It also depends on the towing car. If you have a mini pulling a transit van, its not good.

    I have a Vito and i have fitted brand new heavy duty van tyres to the 15" alloy wheels. My BMW is stripped and i keep all the tyres and wheels in the van. I think the BMW is about the limit for this trailer. It will carry more but i mean for VOSA stopping you.
    Also you need a licence to pull a trailer.

    I've just got my c+e so I'm squared away with the licence, just not the rules/laws on towing a trailer with a car.

    I doubt very much you'll be able to get away with towing your R32 with a Focus Will.

    In short will.... no.

    U can give me a buzz at some point and I'd explain it. But your better off hiring a van for.the day, local place to me only want about 30 quid

    How much extra space do you have width wise with an e36 on it?
    My car has quite a lot wider track than a normal 36 and won't fit on my bro in laws trailer anymore.

    Matt 30 quid sounds sweet just need a trailer like this one then.

    I'd say i have about 3/4 inches spare maybe. Not either side, thats in total.
