Im looking for a place that sells Nistune preset ECU's ? .. ive got a PS13, with a stock SR redtop motor and turbo, with FMIC, Boost controller, Full 3" system / turbo back, Uprated fuel pump, Adjustablle FPR .. Im not sure what other management i could go for, ive heard good things about nistune... after all, im only after a safe 300 horsepower, which is ample for what i need. What would you suggest? or maybe a Apexi FC .. although id have to get it mapped!!! which will cost alot more lol .. any help appreciated.
how much roughly for it do you guys think, for just a pre mapped one, and one to buy and have all done for you... mapped etc.. cheers
your question makes no sense to me? do you mean supplied fitting and mapped..? or just supply for you to tune yourself.. pm for info.
from what i know, no one offers a premapped nistune - its a specific map to your car and its modifications at that time.
why don't u contact matt brown from nistune straight?^^(google) there are no "premapped" nistune chips cause each chip works for donno quite a few different engines, but you can get premapped images for ya engine which you load into ya nistune and you should be able to start up the car and start to tune...that are basic maps similar to the stock one...

cheers guys, ive contacted greg at protuner... I didnt know if nistune done preset maps like horsham stage chips. Ive got info that i wanted now... .. next thing to consider, is whether Apexi FC management is better / cheaper than nistune.. As there are plenty of Apexi FC's and commanders for sale, woould this end up being a cheap, better option, as apposed to Nistune? Ive got quoted £600 to have nistune supplied, fitted, and mapped.. There is an Apexi FC for £350.. so this could be cheaper option?
I wouldn't take that list as reccomendations of people to go to, that bristol one comes up a website that dont work, and an address thats a random council house with a Ford Ka on the drive, lol. Just noticed Motorsport Developments in Blackpool do it too. Didnt realise they did Jap cars, but know Stu and Kenny are two awesome mappers, Stu is one of the very few people in the UK id trust to map a car. They do it properly too, none of this 2 hours and your cars mapped shit.
i would go for it as the nistune chip from nistune is just about 280gbp new^^ nistune is a good chip and if you do it right your car gonna be awesome...but if your tuner is shit even jesus couldn't help you to get some power in the car like stavros said tuning is important and i would myself put alot of cash in there to get it right from beginning!
nistune comes with the stock map uploaded onto it. this can be modifed to make the car drivable to the tuners with alterations to suit your injectors and airflow meter.. so it is sort of plug and play.. nistune with a modifed base image to run bigger injectors and different maf will run much much better than a Powerfc with the same things altered..
