I have the right car (S13) and I'm already to go. Teeside is not far from me, who do cheap drift days often and Tockwith is even closer, who have a skidpan (however it's £100/hour!!). I'm really after a skidpan, or open area, just to get used to handling a drift. I don't feel I have the confidence to go out on a track and actually be able to do it around corners - I mean, I have no idea how to even initiate a drift, I'm starting from nothing. I don't mind traveling or paying for a whole day just to practice with the above in mind, has anyone got any suggestions? Where do I start? Thanks, Nick.
I also have yet to attend my first event. RWYB at the Pod seems to be the best bet, i've been to spectate a few times now and personally can't wait to start! I think its even on this sunday if you wanted to go and see it first
just make sure you go to DWYB rather than RWYB. Otherwise you'll be watching a lot of cars going straight and crashing into walls.. oh hold on.
