Another for the flap disc, take paint & rust with ease but without attacking the metal too much.

when i was welding quite a bit the ones i got lasted fairly well but cant for the life in me remember the brand.

I wouldnt use them to remove the bulk of rust, more for tidying up after the grinding disc or wire brush wheel / cup.

Sada blasting - fast and easy to get to the bits you can't with a wire wheel.

    depending on what your removing.

Rust i use wire prush in either drill, die grinder or angle grinder.
Paint/under seal in alkward places, blow torch then wire brush
Paint/under seal on sheet metal sanding disc for angle grinder

I say Soda Blasting is the best because it takes less effort but dose cost.
Last year i painted a beetle for my mate Simon and same thing.. we had to put the whole car back to metal. I tried using a DA first aka sanding disk but it was to harsh for the panals :/
Believe it or not though i found in the end a wire wheel that connects to a drill it by far the best thing, its pretty fast and don't harm the metal panel near as much as a DA dose.

Bodyline stripper, paint on and scrape off, the new nitromorse is crap,it was designed to be less aggresive because slot of people were havin acciendents with it, the old one is still good if you can get it!

We found that, when I was stripping the paint off my GTR we used Starchem as it was better than Nitro Mors.
