1988 Nissan Sunny Coupe ZX - 1.6 DOHC (CA16) 59,000 miles No Tax or MOT I brought this as a Winter run-about and was going to do some work on it over the summer but now need the cash for something bigger and more practical. The engine is in very good condition, starts first time every time, with no knocks, rattles or unusual smoke. This car is a lot of fun to drive and I found it very comfortable, the interior is in good condition, and the body is almost rust free, just a small amount of surface rust around the spoiler. It comes with a box of spares, including CV boots, light clusters, switches etc... It was MOT'd until the end of Jan 2012 but failed on a few things an has been in my unit since. It failed on: Brake light needs new bulb. Main Beams not working (intermittent - loose wire somewhere) Offside front CV boot needs replacing (have one for buyer ready to fit) Exhaust leaks where manifold meets down pipe (not tightly secured because of snapped stud - stud needs replacing or you could just clamp the two together) It also had a few advisories: "Slightly reduced damping on shocks" - Never noticed this, think they're absolutely fine. Offside front tyre worn. Nearside front CV boot will need replacing soon (again, have a spare ready to fit) Rear anti roll bar bushes perishing but no excessive movement Needs new reverse bulb. Im sure this will make someone a fantastic runabout or retro ride, who has a bit of time to put into it. The possibilites are endless (Carbs, CA18DET, Pickup Conversion etc...)
