Hey Drifters, its quite a while since i have been on this site. I have a Danish good news ! DASU (Danish Automobile Sports Union ) have holded a test on a track called Padborg-Park to see if it could be possible to start a Danish Drift Series. So 18 of Denmarks best drivers was invited to race - lucky i was also invited, which I'm really happy about. My first twin-drift whit at Danish skilled Driver called Lasse Ter-borch [video=facebook;4100685803585]https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=4100685803585[/video] Now to a sad update, i was to DHB where IDS series was holded, but it was a verry short race fore me, i completed 1 round and then my olie pressure failed and my engine threw up ! So now i have taken the engine out to se what damage is happend - One crankshaft done and 6 connecting rods :/. I hope my crank can fixes in a rotating machine and have some new bearings. Pictures will come later ! Stay tuned !
How did you get on with rebuilding your getrag 280/5? It took me 18 months to rebuild mine!!!!!!!!!! Getrag have no syncros left so you will have to get some from other broken 280's.
