NO - Braked Towing Weight 1600 kg, so not a tow vehicle, not for a trailer/car anyway, be ok for a caravan.
Quite right, towing capacity of 1600 kg. And total weight not to exceed to 3500kg (hence I put wheels inside the car). It has been fine (and legal) towing a variety of things in its time: trailered a TVR, beach buggy, and a boat. Never a caravan, but as you said, that would be fine. I guess something like a Nissan or something without some pretty major weight reduction might be pushing the legal boundaries. So to say 'not a tow vehicle' isn't quite accurate, but I appreciate the point.
