Dont think you could have made that sound any creepier hahaha! I'm stuck in work til 12 tomorrow so might grab some tyres and shoot up after that, how much is beer haha.
i did think that when i wrote it but was wondering if anyone would pick up on it lol, always take my own beers but seems cheap enough lol
Fucking cunting car, shitty 1.6 MX GAY diff exploded last night, will be banging on the gate tomorrow morning though, i can't wait! Sourced and welded and fitted a 1.8 diff, prop and shafts today, like a baws.
it was my first time there yesterday (spectating), and despite the rain - it was awesome! some of you guys are pretty damn good - man i wish i was out there with you I'll defo be coming again
Make sure you check out the videos from today, from the 1/4 final battles to the final. Only recorded off my phone so not mega. make sure you check that the video is on the highest possible quality i think most are 720p. http://www.driftworks.com/forum/dri...ng-video-june-july-weekender.html#post2129841
Amazing weekend once again even the monsoon weather doesn't bring us down. Shame the car has come home one wheel drive fooked shaft and a bent rear arm after my mate hit the kerb. By far the best battles I've ever seen even BDC and JDM haven't come close. Ed in the SR Escort is the man, also Grindrod no handbrake so massive man-flicks amazing.
Yet again, another amazing Buxton! Seriously good driving yesterday for the comp, has to be the best one we've had and with 25 entries! Well done to Edd in the escort for winning the comp, doing like his 3rd ever drift day, it only being his 2nd time at Buxton and driving outstandingly. You and Grindrod were so so quick, they were top battles to watch! The return of baker the cabinet maker Shit dawg, you got quick. Where ever it has come from, keep it up, really well driven yesterday mate. Same has to be said for Stu, Martin and all the other drivers that went all out for our entertainment. Was really really good! The E36 battle between Tom and Smiffy was fantastic too and gave the best entries into that last corner of the track for me - This was smiffy's first Buxton and he did some great driving! Was also good to see Never-Lift 2010 reppin' Liam Towle finally showing his face up in the hills, after me trying to get him here for over a year haha! Very glad to hear him and smiffy had a great time, they will be back and realise the potential to progress themselves I think we had about 10 new drivers this month, it's great to see new faces and cars around the place. Drivers briefing Sunday. Have to say a massive thank you as always to the marshals who stand out in whatever the weather to keep that track open for you guys! Heroes! I'm attempting to produce videos for Drift One. I now have Johns camera and Mike was playing with the go pro yesterday. So I'll be in full force trying to get footage next month loaded with memory cards and spare batteries! 25 days to go...
Well my thoughts are pretty much exactly the same as my darling Wife's above! ANOTHER fantastic Buxton, ANOTHER potentially "best ever" event. Fantastic driving by everybody, from our newest never-drifted-before drivers up to our hardened Buxton militia, everybody drove fantastically well at our "hillbilly" track haha. Great to see more and more drivers coming up and joining in the fun from other parts of the country too, we're a welcoming bunch and hopefully everybody felt at home The track time was a bit shorter on Saturday due to some other bookings on the track, but I think we still managed to get crazy amounts of track time for the amount of drivers who were there! We're hopefully improving how we run the events each and every time, and to be honest we're still in awe of how many drivers we get. By 1:05pm on Saturday there were 35 drivers signed on haha. As Dirrt said, we should hopefully start getting some more footage of the events too so our guys can get more coverage and see how awesome you all look from the trackside! The competition was incredible on Sunday, with (as mentioned above) Tom Seaber and Smiffy doing synchronised twinning wall rubs into the hairpin fucking incredible. Obviously Grindrod was on form with top hero-spec entries after snapping his handbrake lever off, but Ed Cobb deservedly took the victory after keeping his cool under the pressure of OMTs! Absoloutely fantastic. Thanks to the drivers for letting me try out the new GoPro on their cars, and thanks for not smashing into the wall and breaking it haha. There will be a lot more GoPro action in the future as I think our event is groundbreaking for the UK and we could make some fantastic videos. Just have to wait until the next one now
I have to second what ed said! Loved every minute of it as usual and massive respect to the marshalls, gate lads etc for toughing it out in the atrocious weather!! All the staff and everyone there a big thank you, Mick.
My first time at buxton, in the Blue Mazda, what a fucking day, i absolutely loved it! Was gobsmacked to have qualified for the comp, even though i got destroyed by the guy in the Monster Liveried S14A, awesome weekend, massive thanks to the DriftOne guys n gals!
