So I went upto a town called Port Alberni today for an event 'Thunder in the Valley' A well known weekend for all car guys on Vancouver Island in Canada, and what an amazingly scenic and cool event it was! Some incredible cars and sunshine all weekend! Mountain backdrop, huge V8s, chicks in short-shorts.... nice! Everything felt really grassroots and alot of the cars were street legal. Anyway, here's some shots I took, all on my iPhone, so nothing amazing but I think you get the idea.
Hell, sounds and looks like a lot more fun then dragracing here in the Netherlands, which is usually some Civics and Golfs trying to be badass, with the occasional proper dragracer thrown in.
I built some dam nice houses in port alberni , awesome drive through cathedral grove to get there. I really recognise that black 5.0 . wonder if its from the island?
i dont understand this , wy for fuck's sake do you lift your truck and then diside tho go drag racing btw nice car's over there !
The lifted Chev also gets used fo mud-bogging aswell I believe, which explains the lift haha. And Liam, the majority of the cars were from the Island, so quite likely!
lol wasnt aware of mud bogging , i now think of big ass mud pool with a billion rednecks or southeners surounding it
