I've been reporting a fair few of these random bots... is there nothing you can do to stop them registering?

I've had someone trying to buy an r154 off me from abroad, Sweden or somewhere like that. 0 posts, he said he was sending a courier with the cash for the gearbox :wack:

Funnily enough when I said it sounded too dodgy and it would be paypal only I had no reply.

Haven't you got that ass about face? :wack:

Someone coming over and giving you cash is fine.

Someone paypalling you can end up with you being ripped off.

I've sold 2x cars to people abroad who came over and got them, and a mate just sold a knackered one in the same way too, they came all the way from Eastern Europe and only bought it to break it lol.

Apparently the courier was going to have the cash to give to me on collection. I've never heard about anyone doing that before. With 0 posts and no reply at all when I mentioned paypal it all sounded very dodgy to me.

unless he turns up on your door step with chocolate coins and monopoly money , i don't see an issue , arrange to meet the courier at a place of work.

used. I'm asking £120 shipped for it. I will be shipping via UPS or
DHL whichever you prefer and shall accept payment via Western union or
Money gram. What's your complete shipping address?"

I know, he didn't argue his side of the story very well by not replying back when I said it sounded a bit dodgy to him. If it was legit most people would have at least replied. I can understand actual buyer turning up giving cash etc etc done it loads but a courier turning up with the cash?? Lol that doesn't happen in the uk.

He probably just meant a mate etc living in the UK picking it up rather than a random bloke in a DHL van. English wont be his 1st language.
Pretty impossible to be ripped off in what he was describing.

No it was a courier not a friend of his. There isn't a problem, I just didn't like the look of the proposal at the time esp traveling somewhere to meet joe bloggs in Southampton originally.

Ah well never mind doesn't matter now, maybe a bit harsh putting his name up then :)
