Rees, Why don't the auction houses want exposure of vehicles for auction on public websites? I put a deposit down and bought my last car through you after seeing it on the non-member site.
I know i know we have tried to tell them that its good for the sellers and the buyers and all the rest of it, but they have very strict anal rules about it, other buyers complain because people publish results and people complain about bent sellers who lie about the gradings and then bleat at the auction houses, so they are trying to tighten it right up. The auction houses are for the trade only and not for general public consumption, even in Japan the public are not allowed to attend them. Beggars believe sometimes and after living here awhile you get to understand that they do the complete opposite of what would be conventional thinking. If we continue to allow people to openly see auctions they will terminate our auction membership, so we have to protect that.
