2 jz clutch

    Does any one know if you can put a clutch plate on the wrong way round just put 2j in with r154 and I ain't got a clutch any suggestion on what could be the problem.

    aint got clutch?
    what does that mean?
    Pedal on the floor?
    does not disconnect? slipping?

    Clutch is really light goes all the way to the floor. when the car is running put your foot on the clutch it goes to the floor but it won't go in gear. Some times the clutch doesn't return.

    have you tried bleeding it?

    Yer we bled it, serval times, when u look through the inpection cover whilst someone is depressing the clutch pedal it's like the clutch doesn't engage enough. We tried putting a socket on the end of the slave rod to extended it so the clutch engages more but that made no difference either

    does the rod on the slave cylinder move enough?

    Is your clutch new, 2nd hand or is it off the motor in the first place?

    yer it fully extends

    Its all come from running cars, the gearbox (r154) flywheel, correct slave, realease bearing and clutch (used but almost new), beau bought the gearbox and everything from a running mk3 2jz supra which died of rot, the engine came we used came from an aristo,

    Clutch plate on the wrong way round what a prick I am.
