FD3S RX7 - £4000ono Posting on behalf of a good friend. PRICE NOW £4000. £3500 without Wheels & Radio! I am offering my 1993 Mazda RX7 up for sale. I have owned the car since March 2010 when it had a fresh rebuild (@ 78,000km w/ paperwork) from a reputable rotary specialist, Super7 in Brighton. In 2011 I then spent quiet a few thousand on some performance upgrades, most of which were also fitted by Super7 along with a remap. Upgrades include: - Bilstein coilovers - HKS SSQV - 6000k HIDS - Apexi GT exhaust - Silenced midpipe - FEED downpipe (wrapped) - Border Racing induction - TRUST intercooler - Custom ducting - 850 primaries - Walbro 255 - Aeromotive stylee FPR - Ported wastegate - Apexi PFC This took the car up to 330bhp (print out to prove) at 0.9bar. The car now has 95,000km and drives very well. It comes with the standard RX7 wheels in very good condition and also a set of Advan AVS wheels (could do with a refurb). As well as the upgrades, it has also been down to Super7 for a few services and general maintenance... to give you an idea of how the car has been looked after; its a 250 mile round trip for me to go there and back. The performance of the car is fantastic and is a joy to drive. Considering its 20 years old next year it's in good condition and polishes up very well. I often receive comments on how clean the car looks. Given the age of the car, there are some blemishes. These are: - paint on side skirts flaking - passenger interior handle broke - very small amount of rust on the boot below the window - mileage display not longer working as of last month. plenty of documents/receipts to backup current mileage. can get a replacement unit with the correct mileage programmed. - front tyres need changing £4950 ono - PRICE NOW £4000. £3500 without Wheels & Radio!
Hmmm, how much worse are these in mpg compared to a 200sx around town...? I've always wanted one but i don't think it would be a sensible idea getting one instead of a 200sx as a daily.... Or would it?
Who cares about MPG? You don't buy one of these for the fuel consumption! By the way it'll be terrible
I was looking at these for a while and was told you can get 20 at a real push if you drive sensibly (we all know thats not happening) but generally they average about 17mpg. correct me if im wrong, but i was told this by most sellers
Idd say wrong, had a rx8, and that was supposed to give 18mpg, and my road to work is not urban driving for sure and the roads are motly empty at 6am, achieved 13-16mpg....... Otherwise bargain for someone for 3500!!! (might think about it myself once i sell the mr2, but its a juicy daily car...)
For those asking about Tax/MOT: "Tax is 01/13 and MOT is 10/02/13. if it goes for £4000 i will put 6 months tax on and 12 months MOT."
if vrt wasn't such a bitch in this country id have another rx in my life! free bump for a mediocre car!!
