Cheers squire, after looking through your and Cowpat's thread i really want to sort my lock over winter. Hit angelsey in Feb with a car that is ready to go !
Too be fair though, you have alot of lock and your roll centres probably aint that bad because its like a double wishbone setup. might be better to leave it
E46 arms ,5mm washers ,modified knuckles ,25mm spacers ,wheels 17 8J et20 ,tires 215/40/17 ....on the picture is not full lock, it can go a little bit more
what do you mean modified geomaster hubs matt ? u got any photos of what you done and the pros and cons to doing what you did...... do you not find your steering heavy on lock ?
Because the Geomasters are made for S14 suspension, he modified them to fit in the Z32 double wishbone setup. It's all in his build thread on here
All kit build by team sunset Fully custom bottom arms Fully custom strut relocation plates Fully custom Adaptor plates Fully custom steering arms E36 evo rack front wheels 7.5J
i thought u had some serious lock when we was there on nye @ teeside, btw whats its like on the steering with all them mods, does it self center nicely when you let go of the wheel or do you have to give it a nudge. Nice work btw
It always self centers perfect really smooth, i think the lads have measured it at 75degrees but not 100% sure
I think the amount of lock people are getting is bordering rediculous.. I'm all for increasing lock to a certain extent, but think people are just going way over board with it, especially the e30 kits and wisefab kits etc.. It's all to take out driver error and detracts from the skill needed to skid fast. I mean fuck off.. Just fuck off with your stupid lock.. Wtf is wrong with you?
