got some spare knuckles for next to nothing so im going to try and make myself a little (or a lot) more lock.
i understand that moving the trackrod end mount closer to the hub will give me more lock and a quicker/stiffer feeling rack.

i also get the whole idea of ackerman angle. my leading wheel will always have more angle than the trailing to stop tyres skipping. but this means instead of my trailing wheel rolling in the direction im drifting it will be dragged along and slow me down.

but if i want to reduce ackerman for drifting do i move the trackrod end mount further out towards the wheel or pull it back in towards my bottom balljoint?
also do i want zero ackerman for drifting or do i just reduce it?
these will be welded and reinforced by somone who knows what there doing with a welder before someone tells me its dangerous or some shizz.

    thanks,
    shane

ye i saw that on youtube but i cant see what has been changed on the trackrod end mound other than the length of it really.
looks like it might be closer inline with that bottom balljoint mount though but im not sure

thats it, track rod end mount closer to middle of hub = more lock and quicker lock to lock, track rod closer inline = less ackerman, iv seen varied experiences with ackerman on here and some people say 0 is good and some have even said to go over centerline if possible. Going with 0 is probably easiest and safest and what most people do.

S13 hubs would take a serious amount of work to make fit lol

s13 is Mac strut - mx5 is double wishbone
    S13 has rack behind - mx5 infront
    S13 is 114.3 - mx5 is 4x100
    list goes on :/

Unlikely you'll eliminate the effect completely.
