Hi Not that much done this weekend... Gave the first 8 rims to the sandbalster and buildded the diff back togheter.. Unfortunatela i have to much clearance from pinion to the disc, so i need to order new shimms.. Main Work was the Fuel system. Plumbed all components in the trunk and fittet the lines towards the engine. In the engineroom is still some work left because the engine is still missing..
Small update.. Fuel pressure regulator is in and the fuelline back to the tank is on it... Waiting for the Engine.. And the fender flares for the overfenders are ready to be riveted..
Thanks to Master Tuning the engine is now finaly assembled and ready to meet the gerbox and the chassi... The 350Z tranny for the first time on the SR... Fits, just some adjustments on the clutch mechanism. The rear fender flares are on... And the first few rims have there new color...
First Little Silvi changed her Homebase from my Garage to Master Tuning.. Then we puttet together was should be together... SR21DET and a good prepared chassis... Was an awesome moment to have these two together... More than 1.5 Years... It is only to fit all ancillaries, once all good we will bring engine and the tranny together in the chassis. We saw that the Watercooler had some space but we tought its to less so we moved water and intercooler 5cm more to the front. Also the oilcooler will be fittet directly in front of the intercooler. Fuel plumbin is finished now... Just needs some fittings to tie down the lines. Engine wiring loom is on his way, only need some small adjustments once its back on the engine and of course we will wrap it properly.. Damn.. I could work 24/7 now... Highly motivated to get Little Silvi ready...
Hi Was a good weekend, master milestone is passed.. First we installed the Z32 brake Caliper.. Then we manufactured a mount for the electrical water pump and fitted it to the chassis. Unfortunately we needed to relocate the fuel pressure regulator.. But that was a minor problem.. Then the big one came closer.. We removed the engine again and fitted the new heavy duty clutch slave cylinder on the tranny inputshaft and adjusted it to the right high. Then it was time.... We fitted the engine together with the tranny in the chassi.. It fitted quite good.. Some minor adjustments to the standard tunnel and she was ok.. So happ that everything worked out well... [ Now we need to plump everything, fill up all liquids and have the engine harness sorted to fire it up..
Thank you guys... Nearly working 24/7 on the car the last few weeks... beside working and a little bit of sleep... Basicaly we are ready to start, we have oil and fuel pressure.. And already gave it a try but had no spark because of the anti theft system from the OEM ECU... We now go from the piggy back to a standalone Harnes for the HKS FCon to overcome that problem... We will see what happens..... At least we have oil pressure..
Sorry.. Had mjor stress to have her ready... For last weekend.. First rollout with minor Wastegate troubles.. Then King of Europe Round 1 Qualified 9.. Lost Top 16 Battle against Defending Champ Adam Kerenyi.. But she grips like hell and is definitly up to the job!!! She is "Mrs Squat a Lot"
Hi.. Thank you.. Have you seen it live? Next time i will stay on his ass the hole time and not touch the gravel.. Was surprised that Little Silvi was that fast!! Yes i will, but final dyno still needs to be done... We have 460HP now and i dont know the tourque as we had planned another session before Round 1 that never happend... We will map her also on E85 and will hope for a better spool up and around 500HP...
