Today's the day. Being pushed into a cage tonight for my first K1 bout! 10oz gloves & shin guards Low leg kicks, and knees allowed 3x 2 minute rounds! Been training extremely hard for this. No alcohol or shite foods. Just clean eating for the past 4 weeks. Plus 5 hours training a week. Weighing in at 56kg, I'm very lean ATM. Body fat is approximately 18% and BMI is 21, so all is good. Leg muscles are so big I can no longer get into a size 8 Boobs are so small I might as well be a Thai boy! But feeling really good and strong! Opponent is 9 years younger than me, 1 years kickboxing experience. Has had one loss & one win. I've been kickboxing for 7 years... Reckon it's going to be a pretty brawlish fight! Wow you are tiny! What does training involve? What is your general diet? Big respect for that kind of fighting! Knees are punishing
Training isn't just kickboxing, we do a lot of fitness, explosive fitness, resistance training, weights, body conditioning and UFC drills, got to get used to being hurt as well as using every bit if strength even when you're fucked! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Diet wise I eat little and often. Approx 1200 calories a day. Lots of protein, eggs, chicken etc. typical day for me would be a banana for breakfast and a protein shake. Lunch would be egg salad with spinach leaves, little bit if brown rice. Natural yoghurt and fruit. Dinner consists of fish and veg or a lean meat and veg. Well I'm pretty gutted, ref stopped the fight in second round. She won by TKO, I took too many knees to the ribs! Ouch! However I've learnt a lot, and for my first fight I think I did pretty darn well. Leg is pretty battered (still managed to dress up and rock the stillettos after though)! Any more updates ? I took up kickboxing a few months ago and have been loving it. First attempt at sparring yesterday, I'm pretty much a mobile punchbag Shit loads of fun though
