When I worked at Worcester Bosch there was a guy there that had 1 that looked like a proper race car.
It had a massive wing, crazy vents in the bodywork, semi-slicks, huge brakes etc... The usual MG Power green stripes.

Dunno if it was a factory one.

MG Xpower? Was a fucking mental thing. Was a factory model but very rare.

you shouldn't be, for the money you pay for one they are decent cars.
My 800 quid mg zt v6 is quicker in a straight line than an '04 A4 turbo

Haha Adam, I remember you off mg-rover.org. Remember following the mg tf with the k20 vtec conversion. Rover/mg knowledge is always needed lol.

Ae the 260 was the 4.6 v8 mustang engine, the 300 bhp model was the supercharged model. Only seen one of them in real life and that was an estate, I've heard of about 3 in existence. The mg xpower livery one was a one off. To charge a v8 was about 4k and done by a company up north from what I can remember but may be wrong.

I had a ZT 190 v6 good car but lacked some extra grunt for the petrol used.

you would of seen mine at Buxton before now if I could of afforded to run it. :( Mine was bog standard 3.2 auto, but would still step the arse-end out on motorway roundabouts. Gonna look for another one when our pool drift car dies.

^^they are both long wheel base^^
the extra length is in the rear doors.

I think the main issue is the cooling system and the fact they weigh about 2 tonne so are too heavy for my transit beavertail.

I know Mad Drift here in sweden has a Calibra where he used to have a BMW turbo engine, but now has a Jaguar 4L straight six (A16S) i think, but he converted it to turbo and it made 666HP and over 1000Nm of torque at the wheels.

The 2.5 X-type is a transverse V6 FWD and the 3.0 V6 is a AWD. I have a 3.0 AWD X-Type and have been contemplating converting it to RWD only. Ditch the auto and drop in a 1JZ-GTE with manual 'box. The diff will probably have to be changed out to something a little more suitable like an E36 M3 LSD but the subframes, cradles etc are in place for a RWD conversion.

Got myself a S type 3.0, things ive found are lack of aftermarket parts is an issue and when you find what you want they tend to be double the price compared to any of your usual drift cars. Hoping to get the car on track soon as ive been slowly building it, just had the a diff welded up for it. Need to fit flywheel, clutch, diff and hydro then its good to go really. Just fitted some new wheels so the yellow crap has gone, keeping the engine standard for now but may look into that in the future.
