Its all about the seat time , not the post count !1!11!!1 Do i need a welded diff / Fancy JDM 2-way ? a diff that locks both wheels will help - however its not vital for you to come along and have FUN Do I need lots of power/ Stage6.9chip/ SuperDuperHybridTurbo/ 2JZ Nope.
who else is going to this, it will be my first drift day. look out the mat black mx5 with purple highlights . feel free to say hello
Don't wana sound like an idiot but I've been to one drift day at oulton park and done bits of streeto but I'd like to get into more drift days. But when I book a DYB day and get to pod with my 3-4 sets or rear tires/rims/tools jack, is there anywhere I can leave these? Not saying every1 is a pikey who's guna rob my stuff but do you guys leave all your gear and tools just sat on the floor while your off drifting as il probs be on my own lol?
I've been to a few pod days and have only heard of a wheel go walkies. What's best to do is to chat with the guys you park next to and look out for each other. Etc.
Il be there in the skyline which was fairly mint until yesterday it knocked a dog over chasing a deer across the road!!! Took the owners to vet dog died on the way! So much for a delightful Sunday drive! Only thing I've ever had go missing is tread which the concrete nicked!!!!
Selling my ticket for this because car's not going to be ready, looking for what I paid for it, if interested PM me so I get notification, cheers
@ Woods1, we've been quite a few times and always leave kit and tyres out and lend tools out (and borrowed them). We've never had anything go missing.
Got a mate who got the date completely wrong for this and can't make it for this (he thought it was next week lol) and is selling his ticket. Anyone interested?
Something has come up here so I also might not be able to make it tomorrow. So that's potentially another ticket up for grabs... ^^Anybody wanting a pair of tickets? haha (available separately) If no interest I might still be able to make it, albeit much later on, just trying to decide whether the drive is worth it just for an afternoon.
I realise that has been done in the past but it isn't Pod's fault that I am struggling to make it tomorrow. Thought i'd just put it out here in case there was any interest, if not I will just see what can be done tomorrow with regards to getting my arse (and car hopefully) down there.
