just been noticing these last couple of weeks that when the car has been driven hard ie bouncing off the limiter and sliding around it will missfire for a few seconds after and then clear up and continue like nothing happened :s

apart from this the engine runs flawlessly so it is very odd!

    everything that matters:
    s14 sr20det
    fmic
    14psi
    walbro
    3" turbo back
    japspeed manifold
    hks mushroom
    no vvt rattle
    serviced about 1k miles ago

not really sure what or where to check as nothing is broken!

They do go very rich with those mods on a standard ecu. So it would not surprise me if you are fouling the plugs up a bit.
    Or blowing the spark out.

    Try some new plugs

changed the plugs for ngk bkr7eix as recomended by DW etc and its still the same!

could this be a fuelling/boost related issue? i am booking in for a dyno power run again soon so may show up fuelling problems then?

Ive heard of lifters pumping up under sustained high revs effectively holding a valve open. Could be this at a guess.

You could refurb your lifters. Pain in the balls to do that on a small chance it could be that though...

if there is no boost leaks check your plugs - if there fine then id put money on the coil packs are breaking down, common thing when putting power up on a 20 year old car. Also Change gear they dont like limmiters lol
