    Hi,
I have a r33 sr20det, the oil pan (sump) cant get to the back three bolts,
Could this transplant have been done with the wrong subframe as it is this that is blocking the bolts??

Any Info would be appreciated fella's.

    Cheers:)

Come on fella's, someone must know something about dropping in a sr20det into a r33.
Want this car sorted for next year so I can join you fella's at the Norfolk Arena, Lynn.

Someone may of used a r33 frame on custom engine mounts rather then use a s14 frame.

unbolt the engine mounts and lift the engine a bit to get to them.
Does it really matter if its a different subframe

It matters because Ill have to lift the engine a good six inches to clear the pan then get a socket in there.
Does the s14 subframe fit straight in as that would make it easier to work on in the future??
