Ok I need both money in my pocket and I have a desire to change. I absolutely love everything about this car and it has been flawless throughout my ownership. This is not your standard drift shitter, I have given this car a lot of love during its life with me and it is an all round great condition car which performs drift, grip and daily commute flawlessly. First, this was a 99 Spec S auto in rare lightening yellow that has been converted to a very very high standard. You would never realise this was anything other than a factory job. It is now a manual 6 speed, with spec R diff and spec R turbo and the majority of the spec R bracing, with a high quality replica factory aero package. Side skirts are factory. No VVT rattle or other horrible noises. Completed a lap of the 'ring in 8:22 with more left in it, I would say it is sub-8 capable in the right hands. Also got me there and back in total comfort, I love cruising in this thing and at 6 foot, with a bucket seat it has the perfect driving position. Mileage on engine is 81000. Mileage on shell is 5k less. Dyno'd 285 flywheel hp. Tyres all have good meat on them. Tax end of April. Easy repair. Also the standard scrapes from being a fibreglass bumper and being low. Stone chips on the front end - as to be expected. RHF wheel kerbed - nothing deep. Would easily sand and respray. One lazy lifter in the engine. If started and left idling for 10 mins or so, it will very softly tick from the top end until you drive off and increase the oil pressure. It then doesn't happen again until the next time the engine has gone cold. This has not changed in the 25k miles I've driven the car and it is not a problem. No VVT rattle. Recent Air-con overhaul last summer, works perfectly last time I used it. RHF wing was resprayed in the garden by me due to a previous run-in with a deer. Not the best, but not the worst finish. Noticeable if you look up close. Will not come with the D-max style rear lights fitted as in the photos, as one had developed a leak and gone a bit dark. Will be included with the car so you can have a fiddle with them. Coilover top mounts are a bit tight (were like this from new) causing the springs to clunk a bit when applying lock when stationary/going slowly. Ok, I'm looking for interest in this again now. Price reduced, just been serviced, also just did a track day at Rockingham in it this weekend where it performed perfectly, as usual.
Interior pics. Please note the Personal Wheel and the Defi Din gauges are not included in the sale. The standard wheel will be refitted (excellent condition) and the standard cubby box will be refitted. No wear to seats at all. The drivers seat has done about 15K less than the rest of the car.
