Well that was easier than I thought. Replacing fuel lines and fitting a blown core plug and cleaning up the main battery earth is all the poor e30 needed whilst it sat on the drive for a year and a half... hahaha. I am liking the rat look of this are you going to be keeping it or making it shiney? Looking forward to seeing some action shots
I think she's starting to look pretty purposeful now.. I'll drive it for the first time in 2 years tomorrow.. even though it has no seat haha.. but it needs to leave the garage for a few weeks now so I can do other stuff to other cars
amazing fair play taff once again another nice car, love the quality and variaty of cars your doing keep it up dude look forward to seeing this with a turbo on
What happened to this in the end?? Just read 39 pages only to find it never seems to have been finished??? It has inspired me to get an E30 touring though!
Was sold as a project to wixey who put a lot of effort in. I did a load of graphics on it then wix sold it with it just needing a good map. Sounded epic. Heres how it looked once id stuck a few stickers etc on it!
I've now got the car but when I bought it the car needed a map but the bottom end was knackered due to being ran with a poor map on it and caused massive piston slap. Ive rebuilt the M30B35 engine and put it on M5 throttle bodies and also many other bit also running an SLR kit, E46 Clubsport rack etc. the car is being MOT on Saturday and also has now being properly mapped and going really well. just need to set the geometry up and she will be a beast. the car will be competing in BDC next year.
It is a happy ending but I was pretty lucky that most of the fabrication and tough bits were done by wixsy and Bryn. The car sounds awesome now and just needed completing. And she is almost there now.
