    ZZZZZZZZZZMCoupe... Slow and steady

Another Zed but not a nissan this time!!
These are not everybody's cup of tea - like an acquired taste most peeps think they look awful, or class
I happen to think they are cool as..

Have been after one of these babies for a long long time. I used to have the roadster many moons ago and loved the way it drove - sitting right over the rear wheels felt great but this is soooooo much cooler and different.. and better to drive!

They hold their money fairly well so after looking for ages for a cheap/damaged repairable and having no luck this came up for reasonable money on ebay...

I had initially looked at this car 2 yrs ago when it was initially for sale - with 180K and a blown engine - the owner had started to do a bit of work to it but as it had no interior and no wheels and I had no way of getting it home from England.

So when i spotted it up on ebay again this year again with seats and a set of M3 wheels I just had to have it..

It's now got a low milage E46 S54 in it - remapped by evolve so goes really well

Currently my daily as has some tax/mot but over time it will morph into a daily drifter and then fullblown driftcar for 2015-2016 lol

like the car, don't like the wheels.
Think it would look 10 times better with something smaller and deep dish

Nice car, had the z3m roadster and loved it when all over Europe and never missed a beat. Always like the coupes better.

oem are 17's and rears are 9J et8 but as these were only wheels available to get her home I took them, I don't think they're too bad but yeah they look a lot better with dish and can take massive amounts but wheels are way down on to do list

Many years ago there used to be a horribly grubby club down by the river, the owner used to have one of these and I loved it! Only one I saw and haven't seen any since. I also like the colour of yours, Phoenix gold is it? same as the M3 E46?

Look forward to see where you go with it.

    Thanks,
I'm building a 1.5 JZ at the moment for it and will run a new Garrett GT30 HTA so i really want it responsive and no lag ;)

if i went back to M power is would have to be the S65 V8!

    Another thread to watch.
I'm VERY slowly building a Z3M Roadster. Lost some momentum on it at the mo though. No heat in the workshop :)

So i've picked up a few bits and bob's for the coupe

It's already got a brace under the front subframe so got this 'butt strutt' for the rear - simple but great piece of kit

I'll get it plumbed in and get to a few practice days.. Still a bit hesitant about going the full hog - stripping her out, caging, sorting lock and spraying etc if she turns out to be a complete donkey to slide lol :smokin:

These are suprisingly sexy cars, I'm impressed man. Colour is a bit marmite-y but I dig it.
