I was at Teeside on New Year's Eve and your car was epic just sat in the que watching it go sideways without fault was sweet.why is it so quiet tho it needs to sound like it goes?
Dunno why its quiet, it only has a middle box, no cats, single 3" pipe. I wanted to keep it quiet, so I can MOT it.
Ditch the middle box till mot time, did you here the noise from that black e34 v8 it sounded lovely the way yours looks and goes it needs to let the v8 noise free, also that 4.4 v8 supra what a noise.im in no way biased after cutting the backboxes off my e38 740's and my e39 m5 haha.cracking car.
Glad you're happy with the engine/box, had always thought I'd keep it and e30 it myself one day. Dunc.
Yeah def happy with it, engine is sweet, got it dyno'd at 301 bhp 292 lbsft with an endtuning £60 chip when it was on the 540. Need to get it done again to see what its like after butchering the 540 exhaust to fit the e30.
Yeah it does, 50/50 with an oil cooler will prob be best and keep temps lower. 100% antifreeze increases temps, but lowers the pressure. 100% water is best for cooling, but increases pressure. 50/50 should be a nice inbetween.
No not that kind of stuff, just normal blue antifreeze mixed 50/50 with water. I did a Teesside day last month and 50/50 seems fine with a stronger Vectra DTi twin fan setup. Still having slight issues with wheel rubbing the wishbone preventing full lock So I added a spacer to the front wheels. Had a bit of a test session yesterday on private land.
What you going to do about the front end now the track is so mental to stop it looking so Eastern European? I'd maybe go with less lock than have to have it looking so odd?
I agree, think it looks hurrendous! You have bought over fenders to "try" and cover front wheels which still stick out 3" past them and your running a 7.5j wheel on the rear? Have you measured your front and rear track width id be intrested to see how wide the front is compared to the rear and why is front so high? Shame really the car has so nice bits on it.
Ha ha I have 50mm spacers to put on the rear, they were taken off last drift day at Teesside to fit wider wheels on. It looks better with a bumper on, bumper edges need to be trimmed as tyre catches it. Darren you cant talk, with the state we all seen yours in. People thinking yours was broken. lol Enjoy your holiday and don't worry about me. Why so high, lol I have proper coilovers, not home made jobs, no need to slam it. Makes it easier for jacking up etc. Front is 25mm wider than this pic.
This looks awsome, but yeah the front does look a little wide. Be good to see how it looks with the rears spaced out too?
Im not comparing dick sizes john im telling you what i think, i just dont understand why you have it so high with your "proper coilovers" and the front wheels still stick out 3" what you you gunna do run 6.5js to compensate
