I'm pretty much decided on buying a Mondeo mk3 tddi 115 estate( I want to avoid tdci and related injection problems). Anyone have experience with one? I want occasionally tow the drift car with it.

I don't know if they are capable of towing that much weight. You would need to check.
However, when they work they are great cars. I think ford did a fantastic job of the mk3 mondeo.
The problem is that they are now old cars and most have done in excess of 100k miles. Which means if and when you have a diesel related problem, I.e the injectors, or pump go down, it's usually then uneconomical to repair them. The tddi by no means comes without it's faults either

If it all goes tits up, you can bolt the entire mk2 front subframe on in about 2 hours after yourve welded on the 2 inch extensions and youll have a far more reliable car!
