24v M50 Swapped BMW E30 3K with all BITS Pride drop 2.5K for the car and maintenance parts. So, the time has come to sell my pride and joy, my motorcycle hobby has superseded my need to have a cool car anymore. I've had this car since November 2010 and we've been on a journey. The car was a dealership demo car for the beginning of it's life, it was then purchased by a lady in her 60's. She drove it until she died. An older gentleman bought it and barely used it as it was simply a weekend car. I then bought it from him. It started as a 318I automatic that I drove until the gearbox decided not to shift any longer. I then bought an M50 from a chap and threw it in there for some fun. I AM WILLING TO TRADE FOR MOTORCYCLES! YAMAHA R6 or R1, KAWASAKI ZX6R or ZX10R, HONDA CBR 600RR or CBR 1000RR, BMW S1000, KTM SUPERDUKE or RC8, SUZUKI GSXR 600 or GSXR 1000 or SV650, Over the time that I owned it I did the following things: Interior: -IS checkered sport interior -Momo replica steering wheel -Alcantara shift boot and handbrake boot -Billet/ black anodized hand brake knob -Chrome gauge bezels -AEM digital Lambda gauge -JVC head-unit (not that amazing) -Its manual window with minimal electronics. Keeps the interior clean and simple along with nothing to go wrong. -4600K HID lights with projector smiley headlights Chassis: -Poly bushes all around -New front ball joints (inner and outer) -New track rods -e36 M3 Evo rack (modified to be manual steering; which works flawlessly) -Nitron prototype rear dampers; they are one off's and yes they work very well; with bearing top eyes (I built some up at work when I realized mine had gone) -Lowering springs Standard front 48mm struts (they need replacing) front and rear strut braces Comes with new front and rear wheel bearings (as the rear needs replacing, and the front will want doing when you do the rear) E30 estate rear ARB Stainless Braided brake lines for the rear Engine BMW M50 Non-Vanos Powderdoated engine cover (black) Custom cold air intake Pink top injectors Obv; M50 manifold T304 stainless headers T304 custom stainless exhaust (out of the headers into a 3.5" collector into a muffler, back out to two 2.25" and out the side of the car at -Electric fan on a switch inside the car (I never had an issue wit it) -Metal thermostat housing with an 88 degree thermostat -New custom wiring loom still need to work out the bugs but the car runs; I'm just not able to read engine temp, so there are some bugs to work out, I just haven't had time. I also have a dan-the loom for the car, but it's for a vanos engine -I have a few ECU's for the car -I have a Viper chip in one of the ECU's -The engine is always run on synthetic oil (redline, then gulf) Drive train -BMW e36 m3 5 speed gearbox alwayse run on redline oil -Not sure what propshaft but it works -z3 Torsen diff with a 2.83:1 gear ratio (which rocks) runs gulf synthetic oil The body of the car was recently buffed out, and I regularly waxed it with Zimol wax. The chassis is pretty well rust free. I bought it as a very clean chassis and it's remained that way. The underside is also nice and clean, it still has the original under-coating on it. The body has the odd scratch and ding on it as it was around a work shop constantly being modified so things do happen. Hence the paintwork is always left until last. However do not take this as; the bodywork is in poor condition; as its not. I also have other things to go with the car -E36 M3 Evo Indipendant throttle bodies and intake system/ fuel rails/ injectors etc. -2 sets of green top injectors -M50 engine gasket kit I want 2.5k for everything.The car has a pair of spare wheels on the front as I cracked/ bent a rear wheel sliding into a curb last winter and I threw these on as a reserve set just to keep things safe. The car has Tax until June 2014 and MOT until Feb 2014. The mileage is just coming up on 90K. This car need a small amount of TLC to be back to its glory, The market has gone up exponentially for these cars lately; Someone could make serious money on this car if they simply took the time to put it all together. UPDATE! 2400 this weekend and ill throw in a z3 steering rack, e36 m3 euro headders, and a new wiring loom!
