    Some cool cars!

My mate had a 135 coupe with a full Miltek exhaust, apparently the first and only one so far and software (he works for Revo) and was around 400hp, proper M3 killer!

M135i's are immense and the £251 p/m lease deal on over xmas was ridiculous!

With the 135is etc are the turbos ok at that? I heard the stock ones shit themselves as they are ceramic or something?

The engines have a fault with the HP fuel pump dont know if it has been rectified in the newer models

Thanks for the kind comments guys, it really is a great little car and a brilliant package for the money. Hoping to get some track time as soon as the weather picks up a bit.

Hmmmm never heard of that before? Neither the N54 or N55 (135i and M135i) have ceramic turbos, the N54 was a twin turbo set up the N55 is a single turbo but has a twin inlet type affair with equal length manifold from differing exhaust ports.

I think the N54 had a few issues regarding the HPFP, not sure if it's too early to tell with the M135i/N55 platform cars. Either way its warrantied!

Hah, thats exactly what I said after driving the 1M, I thought the M135 was definitely quick in a straight line, nice to see I was right :D

I thought there was a lot more feedback from the 1M though, TBH the biggest plus for me is the way they hold their money. Problem is I cant afford a 1M :wack:

What I want to know is why the m 3,5,6 series are referred to as 'm'3,'m'5,'m'6. Where as most refer to the 1 series as a 1m, it's a m1 surely?

Same reason the old M535i wasn't an M5, because it wasn't the proper M version.

That and there's already an M1 and it's sure as fuck no 1 series.

The 'proper' M 1-series is the BMW 1M Coupe.

This, the original "M6" was actually an M635CSI but was definitely put together by the motorsport division, the engine was out of aforementioned M1.

I nearly came in my pants when I saw this at LM VLN last year:
