Just wondering if anyone can recommend any US tuning companies for delivering to the UK that are reliable and helpful for BMW E36 parts.

Anyone able to enlighten me on how the import tax works too?

    Just bits and bobs really.
Scavange pump, mls, arp's, water meth kit.
Im struggling to find places in the UK so resulted to eBay but then checked state side and looked cheaper.

Any suggestions on UK based BMW tuners?

Well the scavenge pump and water inj aren't BMW specific, and from experience both are deffo cheaper from the USA.

Regarding import charges- Adding about 25% on top of what it's costing you to get it here is usually about right.

    Cheers for that Stav.
With about 25% extra on the import charges, is it still beneficial to import or?...

I've had things from the USA to my door in under 48 hours.

But if it goes through Parcelforce once it reaches the UK expect a LOT longer as they fuck about with customs charges etc and seem to take for ever. A good week or so usually.

I had something from Malaysia get to me within 48hrs a few weeks back and going by the tracking it went to about 5 other countries before here, and still got here by then.

Conversely, I imported a pair of VXR8 diffs and they cost me £200 less all told but took 6 weeks!....

Small parts and UPS and I reckon you'll be alright?!?

Small parts under the value of £130 seem to be non tax
