If the ecu's work out the way im hoping, then for under £1500 quid you can have a supercharger kit, plus fully mappable ecu ( standard modified ecu) plus water injection and should be able to hit 450 bhp and roughly equal torque with a good map. If you want more than the jag charger you can get a smaller pulley which should have you touching 500bhp but I would highly recommend a thicker MLS HG and ARP head studs
no only want to see 350bhp reliable but yes 450 would be very nice. Im using the early air flow meter be cool if it can be modded to run off map sensor
350bhp is very easy to get to, you can run these engines at 500bhp+ without even opening them up as long as they are mapped and setup properly. Unfortunately to change to a map sensor or change the AFM is not possible on the standard ecu without major work, and by the time that has been done it would be better to go standalone. The standard AFM can cope with 450bhp but is at its limit apparently.
if you got a early engine then 500 easy The cheapest way for the ecu if you want to run a different set up is a megasqirt MS3 as they self map the car its something I'm going to try in my Rx7 1uz turbo
Ok bit of a bump with bad news. A few weeks ago I had surgery on my hand, and as it turns out the surgeon buggered it up and now I have restricted movement and feeling. This means that for the next several months I will be unable to do any sort of fabrication work. Im going to stick up the prototype for sale shortly as it would just sit in my shed for months and I still have the jigs I made so if my hand get sorted I can make more. You get: plenum top plate Supercharger idler assembly 2 smooth idler pullies so you can use aircon 1 ribbed pulley so you can delete the aircon and use a standard size belt Countersunk bolts and nuts 4 banjo tails to reroute the fuel bridge hardlines Flange for the IACV Basically everything except an inlet as I never made one I was happy with before the surgery. Will be asking £450 for the lot and considering the supercharger is £200 and the machining work was £200 im making a huge loss !
That my friends, is a fucking bargain. If I was at the start of my 1UZ shit again, I'd bite your hand off for that.
there are pics of what your getting scattered around the thread, ive had a few pms about it and tomorrow I will get proper pics of it as it sits and make an ad up and let people know.
no worries, uk delivery should be about 25 quid. BUT I would rather people knew what they were getting so there was no confusion
