i never but a few friends did, there on facebook/instagram.. i just have no idea how to upload them to here.. sorry!
stacked it. be fixed in a few days or a week or whenever i can be arsed to actually go get the doors lol
Not the end of the world, I'll get replacement doors and see how they line up, knock the damage out as best I can and probably give it fresh paint.. The sr feels amazing in this chassis, literally transformed the handling, really impressed
bit of a closeup of the rear door damage.. the rear camber arm that kinked and cracked (luckily the only thing that broke!) and a photo before it got bent
Looks better without the BN kit Shame about the damage though dude, at least it seems easy enough to fix
thanks mint, and thanks mitch and thanks 200sx_ that rear arch is really bugging me, but had already planned to tub them in the next couple weeks.. just didnt expect it this soon lol
thanks man! got a replacement rear door last night, chucked it on earlier, thankfully it still latches etc so nothing majorly bent.. but the gap! so noticed a split in the inner/outer skins, enough to get a crowbar up to pry it out as much as i can... and this is what its like at the minute.. total gay but least its getting there
Whats the plans? Overfender it? Filler? Leave it? Bodyshop? Could be fixed to be as good as new by a panel beater as long as you dont go too much more mega on the repair.
yep, literally used a crowbar lol Mint- i need to tub the rear arches anyway so im not too fussed about how it looks right now, just be nice to get the door to seal so i dont get any annoying leakages when it rains, then i'll decide whether to use proper 4dr overfenders or just a rivet on style one, or maybe something a bit more custom, then the entire car will get a fresh lick of paint probably in a different colour
the thought had crossed my mind Ed, then i realised im going Finalboss Matsuri >_< so gotta get it looking good
couple little updates... bought some posh 2nd hand cusco rear arms from my good friend Mitch @ DriftGarage Fitted em, aligned it by eye for the time being, hopefully go up to A-Line to get it properly setup again on Satuday painted the engine bay all black to tie in with the new colour scheme.. teehee also.. cars looking a bit sorry for itself and spent a few hours this afternoon building a rolling shell into a full on drifter.. engine in, wheels fitted, seat in and all the other jobs we could do (hes still waiting on a couple parts) in the space of 2 hours
did a bit of cutty choppy so heavy. then did some of this which led to this all in preperation for this
