That onevia build

Never really bothered with build threads or forums but sat at home bored brings you this.

Started off built this last year and done some skids







Then decided i was going to chill on drifting this year and build the ps up slowly
so ended up with this




lasted two weeks and got bored of not skidding so through some parts and fab some bits up



Took it pod and popped the engine, didnt want to spend anytime on the chassis so stripped it for parts and for the past 5 weeks been working on the ps every day. managed to buy the shell off a good friend so was onto stripping it and making it my own

front end stripped


all cut out and started tubbing it







All finished and primed









sourced a complete straight cam setup for it



And in it goes







Next came the ball ache of a job of re wiring the thing engine loom was ran into the bay right at the back of the engine, fusebox moved inside and the lighting loom inside the chassis leg not needed but looks super clean

we have power


mostly back together now and all running, just getting prepped for paint and hopefully have it at dwyb on the 18th june for a shakedown before final boss















i have missed so much out but yea thats the onevia all built on the drive with my good friend Cades its now running and moving but still a big list left to do threw a set of s15 injectors in,bb turbo, walbro, tomei ecu and the usual stuff. also running a s14 rear frame from my silvia with skyline diff 4.1ratio
geomasters as i love the things, will update as it moves along

 

Kit is believed to be vertex sides and rear the front bumper I have no idea it was a lucky dip at ep racing he only ever had that one in and got it at a steal.

Will fire some photos up later of the loom the fuse box is on top of the heater system under the dash then wires are fed into the chassis leg by the peddle box

tonight was spent stripping it all back down and prepping for paint, a job i hate usually now is a full blown rage trying to remove graf paint





watching it pickle the boredom is unreal

 

2:1 ratio of nitromors and sweg is the paint and that graff paint sucks ovaries

yea i loved that car never should of got rid of it my first proper build, that photo is a lie i stuck it in the kitty litter like 3 secs later haha

 

went and got my paint mixed up today, i love custom colours, having something special added to it but that can wait



also popped up to epracing to grab a pair of dmax wings quickly tested the passenger side as usually the passenger ones are shit moulds but this looks damn good
