Why not just use pages and export the document as a word document... Same for the rest of them?
    ?

you could do the above or you could run a duplicate desktop on your machine, i cant remember exactly what the mac term is for it though, but its not too complicated to set up, then you can run windows.

Why the hell would you want to run dual operating systems just for MS Office? There is a mac version, and there has been for years.

The free but slightly naughty version:

    1) Access piratebay.se through a proxy server website and set your location to any country that allows you to access the site, i.e. Australia etc (you won't be able to access it in the UK afaik)

    2) Download MS Office for mac (read the comments for the torrents to find one that people have had no issues with).

    Simples

If I had a macbook pro, and wanted microsoft office, I could download the free trial and then go searching for a serial code, for example searching youtube and clicking a video which has a thousand different serial codes in the description of the video and trying a few of them until it worked.

    Hypothetical situation.

Cant you use office online? Some connection to office 365...?

Also uni/schools usually have special codes/licences for this reason and you can get it for free/cheap off them. I'd ask the IT guys at the uni.

it said free trial but you have to put card details in so i figured it was for future per month payments to use it, i put the details in thinking the first month was free but it charged me £6.99 bit annoying

You can do a lot on Google drive, e.g. word, excel etc
