Today was alignment day, took it up to Drift-Street-Imports and Simon has set it up real nice, feels really responsive. Hopefully get on track Monday at BHP.
It mate 460bhp and feel fast and drifts nice. The power has moved up the rev range but to be expected I guess. The external seems to be working grate but I brought a brand new turbo smart 50mm. Next thing is it's going to nispro to be mapped again.
Last time I wrote on here I was waiting for the car to go to NISPRO for a remap. That's been done amongst other things. It also had a swirl pot and 044 pump fitted along with a load of steering parts. The map was an amazing difference, still making around 460 but after a live map the response and power feels spot on.
After this I used the car a little and was still working on a few bits and pieces. Changed the hydro cylinder from 0.7 to 0.625, change the broken gear stick for an obscene 25cm long green dildo and moved the fan and cut off switches to the dash from the centre console. It also had a new screen, 3 days later the bonnet popped up and cained the roof and smashed the carbon bonnet to bits. Luckily the screen survived some how. Poor car looks a bit worse for wear tho.
Starting to collect parts for my RBS14 Forged Engine Build. Not to sure what spec it will be but 87mm MAHLE Piston Kit and dead RB25 is the starting point.
Cars having a tidy up atm. Wings and over fenders off, arches neatened up and front drivers side arch had a hole that is being welded.
I'm having an engine built by Walton at Nispro RB25/26 hybrid and I've brought a new Holset to replace my 500bhp HY35. It's a HE351VE variable vane turbo. The compressor housing is about the size of a HX40 and the turbine housing is variable from 4cm2 to 25cm2 controlled by actuators. This way it spools fast and as the boost is produced the housings inside volume is increased to allow big power. Rated at 650bhp.
