Badass, sounds awesome unlike the other cars in the vid, as it's got a proper engine. Love it. What spec? The god awful SR20 sounds of the other cars kinda make me laugh they're so shit compared to the proper engine you have. Looks like needs a bit more grip mind, didn't have a lot of forward momentum it seemed.
Stav, it was slippery as fuck allll day mate. And I couldn't be arsed with setting pressures etc as I forgot my pressure gauge. Engine is normal stuff really, greys, t34.63, 2 bar,.
That's normal YB used properly sound. Like he said, typical/common YB spec. Best sort of spec really! Serious boost, serious torque, and reliable too, love it. That'd be about the spec I'd do for a YB drift engine too, at most I'd monkey about seeing if a .48 or .55 housing suited it better, but it prob won't. Bang on. Just the noise makes me want another YB'd 'something' again.
I do love a yb but I'm always thinking when is it next gunna need a rebuild. Hopefully this one will stay together. Power wise it's gotta be about 360 ish? It's on a 4x4 cooler though just so I could get as much airflow to the rad as possible.
No build thread unfortunately. I've got some pics I can put up later though. Axle is a standard atlas, gripper lsd
Miss those noises takes me back to my ford days and my cossie! Similar engine setup only I was only running greens! 4x4 cooler is nice and thick long as your happy with the charge temps wouldn't change
