    Hi All,

I've decided to sell my M50 touring. I've owned it for approximately 18months,of which 12months were spend building her to the spec you see below and repairing the dreaded rot that is hidden on so many e30's.

She has been built as a trackcar/fast road car which intended to drift but have decided that I need a comfy daily and I desperately need to finish my saab turbo e30 that has not been touched since I bought this.

    Specification -

    1990 G reg 325i Touring
    Laser Blue
    MOT 27th April 2012
    TAX End October 2011

    M50B25 conversion
    120k E36 Vanos engine
    KWP Metal impeller water pump
    Alloy Thermostat housing
    New 88 degree thermostat
Oil and filter 2k miles ago.
New Nissin Air Con large capacity radiator

    E34 Gearbox
E36 Compact 3.38 open differential with ZM rear bush.
    Z3 shortshift
    New prop donut and guibo
New intank fuel pump (For some reason appears to be slightly noisy)
E34 electric aircon fan with switch in car.
    M5 engine mounts
New battery with 3 year warranty.
13mm spacers on mounts to allow current ride height.
    3mm Steel sump guard.

    Chassis -

    KW Dampers
Rally design coilover kit (Miles of adjustment to go lower if you desire).
    Faulkner springs - 350Ibs/inch front /550 Ibs/inch rear.
    Powerflex polyurethane bumpstops
Adjustable pillow ball front top mounts
    Adjustable Eibach anti roll bars
    New drop links
E30 OEM M3 eccentric bushes on new wishbones
    E36 steering rack
    E30 M3 front crossmember

    Polyurethane rear beam bushes
    Polyurethane rear trailing arm bushes
Fully adjustable rear trailing arms using slotted rear beam and e39 eccentric bolts.
    E46 OEM M3 rear topmounts

    Brakes -

    Recent ATE 'flower'discs/pads/shoes
Braided Hoses allround (Fitted last week)
AP racing brake fluid (replaced last week)

    Wheels-

    Banded BMW mini steels-

15x8 front and 15x9 rear - Fronts have toyo proxes on that have done approximately 1500miles. Rears (Nexen) are have loads of tread but there is some scrubbibg from the arches.
    It
    20mm Hubcentric Alloy front spacers

    Interior -

Magnum Sidemount bucket GRP bucket seat (Immaculate)
    Dished Suede Steering wheel.
    Aluminium ball gear knob.
    Freshly dyed black carpet
    Freshly dyed black boot trim
    Recently replaced non-cracked dash
    New heater valve and o-rings
    Recent heater matrix

Interior Negatives- Currently headlining not fitted, I have removed it to get it wrapped in some nice black suede material but never got round to doing it. The headlining shell will be provided in the sale. You can choose what you want to do with it. On a plus note it allows you to check that the sunroof drains are not rotted out like many e30's.

Also some of the upper trim panels are not fitted as these were removed for the headlining, these will also be provided in the sale.

    Exterior -

    GM super flexible splitter.
    Lamix X tinted headlights
    Smoked sidelights / indicators
Newly replaced and resprayed rot free tailgate.
    Pressed Dub meister euro plates
The mirrors pictured are very rare carbon fibre Group A mirrors and will not be coming on the car.
    Rolled rear arches

The body work is pretty good for a 20year old car, there are however a few scratches dents on various panels, although these don't detract from the appearance.

As with all e30's the most important thing is that she is rot free. In my time of owning her she has had a weldathon performed on her, with work carried out on the bulkhead/RH inner arch, front jacking points, rear panel, rear spring and drivers sill. Following this she was fully under sealed. The body really is structurally 100%, there is however rust on some of the bolt on panels for example- the front lower wings, edge of the bonnet and passengers front door. (These can all be bought very cheaply if required.

If you want the full build thread and images of all the welding, suspension upgrades etc etc - Log on here

E30 Zone - You are trying to access a restricted area.

There are also a few spares with the package -

Pair of trailing arms (with disks etc)
    Some 14' bottle top wheels
    Rear head rests

    Heres some pictures.

Really looking for cash, as I already have a replacement lined up, however I would consider a non kitted PS or 180sx with basic mods.

How much would somone spend on this today?
at 2500£ sounds a bit cheap.
I have one m52b28 (basically bigger bore aluminium block version of the above vith vanos) no history though 77k on the clocks 90K on the engine.
its a white touring. I slaped an M50 intake with an ITG induction custom kit with and exhaust by ashley.
    bbs 17 on coilovers.
the body is immaculate original 1991 318, with the carpet script ' made in west germany '.
    What's that worth these days?
i love this car btw. fully sick imho

I sold this years ago to Paz, who incidentally put a S50 in it, last time I saw it was at Oulton park , looking a bit sorry for it's self.

This is one car I wish I didn't sell, price was about right at the time but probably worth £3k ish now, I would guess.

I'm not surprised it's looking sorry for itself, they are old and the salt at the moment is deadly. although with the s50 and an uncared-for look, i'd see a fully sick sleeper
I need to waxoil the sills asap to prevent anything happening.
I'd post a picture but have not figured how to in a reply. Really want to get some more opinions before I tip a load more work (anti-roll bar, powerflex PU bushes etc)

Ed yes I'd be interested, but I'm not 100% sure I want to sell at the moment. convince me :D
