My 93 year old next door neighbour has decided to buy a new car finally so his E39 525i Auto is up for grabs. I'm pretty sure he has owned it from new and it definitely hasn't been ragged around... it spends its days driving to the golf club at 40mph and that's pretty much it!! He spends fortunes getting things done to it....abdolutley anything it needs gets done straight away (I have told him not to but he won't listen!!) Its got all the usual spec; F&R electric windows Electric mirrors Sat nav (screen works but not actually tried to use the nav so no promises) Electric leather memory seats Full trip computer Good tyres all round Parking sensors Remote central locking Headlight washers Climate control The bodywork is generally ok and no rust that I can see, but there are a few scrapes (main one pictured). The interior is a bit of a mess and has had a dog in and smells like it!! The display on the dash is faded and can't see what the mileage is........ ....But who gives a flying fuck as someone is more than likely going to nick the engine out and then break the rest of the car for parts and make their money back....right?? Or febreeze the inside and use as a beater that will more than likely go on for years!! There are some books with service history but not looked through them as I'm sure nobody will care that much on a car like this that runs 100% from a man older than yoda!! When I say 100%, the engine purrs, its healthy as Usain Bolt and wants for nothing, as is the spazbox thats connected to it!! Come and see for yourself!! Looked today, there are 14 stamps in the service book and looking at mot's the mileage is around the 150k mark!!
