i have decided to retire the ebay turbo and go for something a bit better, it has done me well though 3 years of abuse and no problems at all.

i am fitting an elite developments RHD turbo manifold with a garrett GT35 with 1.06 A/R housing, Tial F38 (2 bolt 38mm) wastegate. so i should be able to push quite a bit more power and be a lot more responsive.

    this really is huge!!

I tried gtx3076 and gt3582 on my m50 the GTx obviously have a quicker spool and response, gt35 though when kick in... Ufffff!

Love the 36 fella, are they the hard motorsport arches? They were not about when i bought the over fenders for mine which is a shame as i do prefer your ones.

I see your running m52 internals now, in the m50 block I presume. Did these fit straight in? 323 m52? Sorry for the questions, how come you changed the internals in the end? Car looks great though, very clean!!

    Hi
yes m52 internals fit straight into a 2.5 block would need to check on the 323 block but from what i remember they are the same.
i went for 2.8 internals to increase the capacity so its now just above a 2.8.

i already have someone that wants it all and is going to give me a deposit, if it falls through i will let you know

Long shot, but any possibility that you still have that ^ other turbo manifold ?. I know you sold the one on the car.

Heres a little update from when i test fitted everything.
note since these pictures i've clocked the turbo and fitted the oil feed, hoses air filter etc.

will have some more soon once i get my car back from the fabricators as having the downpipe, screamer pipe, scavange pump bracket, air filter heat shield and intercooler and oil cooler bracket made.

Wasn't keen on this when you started going away from the OEM look but I think it looks the tits now! Great build!! What sort of power are you hoping for?

Is it just an m52 engine with an m5o block and inlet?

I also searched on Instagram for elite developments and see that you're owner, great looking products!! I plan to use your setup for my e36 once I have the bodywork sorted. Was gonna drop you a message soon for a price on a 5/6 products from your site.

Great build, keep up the good work!!

thanks for the comments im really happy with the car.
power wise i would say high 500's but all im hoping for is more drivability the new turbo manifold and wastegate will make a big difference.

before i had to use what i could get and as i was using a cheap manifold that kept swelling and cracking and a cheap ebay wastegate it was always down on power.

with using a proper manifold, turbo and wastegate plus a true 3" downpipe should make a massive difference to how it produces the power.

in regards to the engine it is M52 crank rods and pistons in a m50 block and a m50 nv head and inlet. then full arp, uprated bearings, MLS etc etc.

if you need anything just shoot me an email steve@elite-d.co.uk

i will be getting the car back from the fabricators at the weekend hopefully so will have a bit more of an update

    Looking good! Really cool! [emoji122][emoji106]

Think we have same engine block and turbo. I might try this manifold on my build.
