Then onwards to Hakone, where I picked up the Hakosuka and ploughed along the mountain passes and touge routes:
Spent some time in Mount Fuji, where the owner of the guest house I was staying at allowed me to take out his Cooper S around the many twisties of the region:
After a quick bite to eat, we continued down to Yokohama and paid their local OktoberFest a visit at the Big Red Warehouse: - - - Updated - - - Then it was back to Tokyo and a drive through Shibuya Intersection (the famous crossing known to many thanks to Tokyo Drift's movie scene):
Hope you enjoyed seeing a part of Earth that is completely a world away from anything I've experienced before. Will be going back for my 30th and I can't wait!!! J
Ebisu is a good time. I used to track a couple of motorcycles out there when I was living in Tokyo. Howd you enjoy your trip?
Trust me, eyes were going blurry from all the HTML code haha! The trip was simply amazing, I didn't make it to Ebisu on this occasion sadly. But as I mentioned, I'm aiming to go back in a few years so will be hitting up Ebisu first for some seat time with Power Vehicles and then up to Hokkaido for some snowboarding Just need to make sure all the schedules align really.
That's usually the biggest battle. It's pretty awesome place I lived there for a few years. I didn't get as far down south add you did though Fuji was as far south as I went and drag teaching in Sendai was as far north. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.
