S14a - RB25 Engine using SR20 gearbox - help?

    hi guys.

    Just about to embark on my swap.

    Currently have a R33 AUTO spec-1 with igniter chip.

    I'm planning on using my SR20 gearbox for 3-4 months so I'm trying to find out exactly what I'd need.

    - SR box
    - RB25 clutch. (I'm pretty sure the SR20 clutch is junk)

    Do I need a bell housing from another car?

    If the current engine is auto, will there be anything else I need to do to enable it to run in a manual form?

    Am I right in thinking a RB20 turbo bell housing will allow me to bolt my SR20 gearbox onto the RB25?

    You are correct , however you will eat gearboxes.... sr box's arnt the strongest . You would be much better with a rb box .

    As above, the rb20 bellhousing will allow the sr box to bolt to the rb25, but it's really not up to the task.
    Better to sell the sr box whilst it's still in one piece.
