some of the QLD dudes have decided to hire out Archerfield for a small skid day on the 29th of this month.

For those of you who don't know what archy is, it's a go kart track that they run drift days on/let you hire it out for drift aswell.

So time to get the car ready for that.

    List of thing to do:
    Oil and filter
    Steering rack bushes
All the link pin bushes front and rear
Finally redrill Lcas to suit the JJR swaybars
    Wheel alignment
Probably roll the new front guards to pull a little camber out
General check over and tidy up
Get a couple more tyres put on rims

And then I should be ready!

    Looks bloody awesome dude!

All it's needing is the oil cooler mounted outside the front bumper for "that shakotan hype bro" :p

They don't look like JZX100 skirts, they have a more aggressive angle towards the edges

Kinda look like S13 TBO skirts almost.

Decided I'll make a start on things today even though the track day has been canned.

Started buy doing the oil change which I knocked over nice and quick and make a start on redrilling the LCAs to suit the swaybars finally along with replacing the bushes.
The passenger side was nice and easy but in typical 31 fashion, the drivers side was a jerk.

The bushes were well and truely rooted.

After plenty of Swearing and rage it was all done. the other things will have to wait for another day unfortunately.

Finally levelled the car out all round and pull some of the ridiculous camber out.
    Wheel alignment is needed ASAP!

So got a couple of things done to this over the weekend, the old standard intank pump was replace with a walbro intank as my surge tank was running low after a big run. Also investigated a clunk that I suspect to be loose tail shaft bolts, which I was right, 3/4 were loose, so all tight and good to go again!

Here's a shot of my disgusting looking engine bay too.

Nothing much has been happening with this, just been having a blast driving it without any hitches, touchwood*

Took it for a drive and a mate brought his camera.

It's a dirty, ghetto bastard, but I do enjoy it!

For once, this thing has decided it wants to be reliable and I'm sure having a blast with it! Taken up daily duties with it properly again which is interesting. Need plan out my next track day ASAP! Feeling the itch real bad. Also, took it out to a massive car meet out here, sure grabbed the attention of most of the crowd.
